In honor of the publication of Jim Walsh’s All Over But the Shouting. I dug up this gem from Pline taken from the Northampton, Mass show in August of 2002.

So, I am not sure if I heard this as urban legend, if it’s true, or if I made it up, but I figure one of y’all might know — did Nirvana name their record after this song?

Video Tuesday — I’m only dancing

Crap. I almost forgot about Video Tuesday. Holy hannah, that’s some kind of bad news. I’ve been busy my friends. I promise to think of something brilliant and witty and insightful to say soon. I have vacation next week and my whole plan is to sit around in my pajamas writing stuff (you know when I am not busy trying to get Carl Newman to make sweet, sweet love to me by sending him the patented Make Sweet, Sweet Love to Me Vibe™ from the back of First Ave on Tuesday and of course I will only do that if I don’t first run away with Andrew Bird on Wednesday after the Wilco/Andrew Bird concert).

Here’s a video, it’s Paul Westerberg covering Bowie and that’s all kinds of rad, is it not?
