How old is Michael Stipe? I'm watching REM on Austin City Limits right now, and I'm wondering when Michael Stipe turned into my dad.

The ACL show was pretty good.  Mostly stuff from their new album which I haven't heard but which everybody seems to like (at least in comparison to their last few).  Scott McCaughey and Bill Rieflin from the Minus 5 and Robyn Hitchcock's backing band were playing with them which was also cool.  And Pete Buck seemed to be having fun playing with REM again.

Please, I am looking for a highly-skilled, talented, and intelligent assitant. They have to be able to fetch cookies, tolerate Dawson's Creek, and handle all my correspondence. It's not as easy as it sounds.

The Clash thing threw me. I've never met a Clash lovin' Westerwoman before, so I just assumed that CMI was a guy.

I think that I'm gonna ask CMI to visit me at my ranch in Utah, and if things go right, she will become one my brides.

I just hope Jodi doesn't try stealing her from me, like she tried to do with Kate Hudson.

Yeah, Jodi's always stealin' my wimmins. Uses them until she gets distracted, like watching a My Name Is Earl (starring the delightful Jason Lee) marathon on tv, and throws them out like yesterday's canned soup.

They usually came crawling back to me, but they are never the same.

And where has CMI been? C'mon, woman, the big group wedding ceremony at the ranch happens this weekend, and it won't be the same without you.

Oh, well, she's probably been snapped up by another message board somewhere. Clash lovin' Westerwomen don't stay on the open market for very long.
